Reasons for having a blog here, and not just anywhere?
1) You can click on "Recent" and instantly find all the latest ski blog posts without looking all over the net.
2) This site already gets 100,000 hits a month, so you will get more readers by hosting here.
3) You dont need a seperate account on yet another web site, you automatically have a blog now with your current account.

If you create a blog, a link to your blog appears with each of your posts in the forum as well.

I installed two blog templates. The default is "blogger". If you look at my blog, I switched the template to the "Infinity" blog which allows me to use my background pic. It has a lot of configuration options as well, but the "blogger" template is simpler. You are not locked into the first template you choose though, you can switch them at any time.
